Charles “Chuck” Doyle
Chuck is the senior client contact for Business Capital San Francisco and is responsible for overall program implementation, contracts and project QA/QC. Chuck has played a key role in the strategic growth and direction of the organization. He has helped lead efforts to define our mission and strategy, and integrate this vision into daily operations. As the top executive in our sales organization and a partner in the company, Chuck is directly responsible for our impressive record of growth and client acquisitions. He has also been instrumental in developing our unique culture of innovation, learning, and professional opportunity. Leveraging more than a decade of experience in the business consulting industry, Chuck is the author of many of the processes and methodologies that make Business Capital a reliable, efficient, and strategic partner to businesses nationwide. Prior to Business Capital Chuck was the founder and president of one of the countries and San Francisco’s 10 fastest growing privately held companies. Chuck also worked in the technology sector heading up sales divisions of both public and start up companies. A graduate of The College of the Holy Cross, Chuck earned a full scholarship after walking onto the football team during his freshman year. He went on to become a four-year letterman and three year starter at running back. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree, Chuck was offered a free-agent contract and spent the 1986 NFL preseason with the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. Chuck remains actively involved in the San Francisco community and has served on development and fundraising committees for various charities. He currently serves on the board of directors of Raphael House in San Francisco, an agency that provides shelter and other services to the homeless and “at risk” youth. Raphael House is dedicated to helping at-risk children and their families achieve stable housing and financial independence, while strengthening family bonds and personal dignity. He is also actively involved in development and fund raising for his alma mater, Holy Cross.
Edward Omid Mehrfar
An attorney with over 13 years of experience specializing in mergers and acquisitions and securities law, Edward has represented numerous venture capital firms, underwriters, private companies, broker-dealers, investment companies, hedge funds, top-tier investment banks, and major Fortune 500 Corporations in connection with acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, restructurings, private placements, loan and lending arrangements, structured finance transactions, debt and equity securities offerings (including IPO’s), and general corporate practice. Edward is also involved in numerous aspects of the stock market trading business, including ownership of several offices of a major professional equity trading firm (where he managed over 150 traders) and a small New York City based trading Hedge Fund. Edward also has the Series 7, 63 and 55 licenses.
Bernard J. Wolff
An experienced investment banker and financial analyst, Bernard has specialized in mid-cap and small-cap companies as well as private companies interested in obtaining venture capital investments. Bernard’s vast experience is in financial analysis, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, poison pills and other financial advisory services. Bernard also focused on private placements and other capital raising services. Prior to that, Bernard spent several years working in the equity research departments of several mid-tier investment banks specializing in the technology and energy industries. Bernard has a Bachelors degree in Accounting and a Masters in Finance.
Daniel J. Donovan
A Management Consultant with a broad range of experience in banking, finance, bankruptcy, crisis management, and business turn-arounds. Experience in working closely with operating management and ownership, to: plan, develop and implement strategies that both manage growth and achieve substantive problem resolution.
W.L. McManigal EA
From 1969 to 1984 Bill was a special agent and the Chief of Branch I, Criminal Investigation Division, Internal Revenue Service conducting investigations of income tax fraud both nationally and internationally. Bill is licensed as an Enrolled Agent by the Internal Revenue Service, to represent taxpayers before that agency and other tax agencies as well. Bill has more than 35 years experience dealing with major tax issues for individuals, partnerships and corporations, and represents these taxpayers in audits as well as general collection problems and specializes in offers in compromise.
Bill has ten plus years on the City Council of Concord California and served two terms as Concord’s mayor.
John Seeley
John Seeley is a Senior Associate at Business Capital where his entrepreneurial streak and business acumen have helped him to excel. John has owned two businesses in the home remodeling and the internet industries and ran every aspect of both companies — from raising capital, to hiring and leading his sales and production teams. John has been a sales manager in two international companies where he had complete Profit and Loss responsibility for his offices and personnel. After selling his last business, John focused on corporate finance with a goal of working with entrepreneurs and business owners who were seeking financial assistance for their companies. John earned his BA in Business from James Madison University and his MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where he focused on Finance and Entrepreneurship. John has worked as an analyst at various firms on the East Coast where he conducted extensive due diligence and valuation analysis, drafted comprehensive investment memoranda, and analyzed business plans to provide investment recommendations. In college, John competed on the men’s gymnastics team at James Madison University and won the Virginia State Rings Championship his senior year.
