Charles “Chuck” Doyle

     Chuck Doyle is the Managing Director of Business Capital.  Leveraging more than 20 years in the business consulting industry, Mr. Doyle leads an excellent team of professionals and partners who are experts in every industry and available to analyze and meet each business challenge with a personalized approach. 
     Mr. Doyle’s experience is spread across multiple industries and is focused on companies in need of debt recapitalizations. Chuck is responsible for guiding his team in the successful management of workouts with lenders, vendors and suppliers. This has enabled him to have a unique perspective in helping clients manage through the loan workout process and in their relationships with financial institutions and creditors.
     Recently, while serving as debtor’s restructuring officer, Mr. Doyle successfully executed an out-of-court reorganization for a private equity backed biodiesel manufacturing company requiring resolution of over 100 secured and unsecured creditor claims in four countries. He arranged a multi-million dollar credit facility for a distressed petroleum distribution company; closed a $45 million debtor-in-possession financing transaction for a Hawaiian hotel; and completed a large out-of-court acquisition of a distressed media company’s assets, requiring resolution of secured lines of credit with a large American bank and over 150 unsecured creditor claims. Mr. Doyle is frequently retained as independent advisor to boards of directors of public and private companies involved in the restructuring process.
     Mr. Doyle serves on the Board of Directors of the Northern California Turnaround Management Association, has been a speaker and moderator on numerous occasions and has served on a multitude of panels including for the Association for Corporate Growth and Turnaround Management Association. He is an active member of industry organizations such as the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, ABI (American Bankruptcy Institute), ACG (Association for Corporate Growth) and CFA (Commercial Finance Association). Chuck is also very involved in development and fundraising for various charities and his alma mater. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for Raphael House (www.raphaelhouse.org) in San Francisco. The Raphael House is an agency dedicated to helping at-risk children and their families achieve stable housing and financial independence, while strengthening family bonds and personal dignity.
     Prior to Business Capital, Mr. Doyle was the founder and president of one of the country’s and San Francisco’s 10 fastest growing privately held companies. He also worked in the technology sector heading up sales divisions of both public and start- up companies.
   Chuck graduated with a B.A. from The College of The Holy Cross in Massachusettes, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Gridiron Leadership Council.   He is married with four children and resides in Fairfield, Connecticut as well as San Francisco, California.
